FAQ

What's your style of photography?

Of course I like to capture some “smile at the camera” formals (the ones that granny likes to frame and put on the mantelpiece), but my main priority is capturing those genuine moments and interactions between you and your friends & family. When you hire me, this is what I’ll be doing 99% of the time. If I had to choose two words to describe my style, I’d go with “expressive” & “emotive”.

Who decides the shot list?

I have a list of shots that I work through, but you’ll have some must-haves in mind too. We’ll chat about your shot list when I send over your pre-wedding questionnaire, approximately one month before your wedding day.

We're camera shy... will it be awkward?

Absolutely not. As a bit of an introvert myself I know all too well how it feels to have to stand and smile down the barrel of a camera lens. I’ve had couples mention how they leave their photography session feeling at ease and how much they enjoyed it. For me, that’s the biggest compliment I could ask for, as you having the best time is my number one priority. If you’re still unsure we can book a warm up session, which wedding couples can get at a discounted rate.

What hours do you work on the day?

Typical service on a wedding day runs from bridal preparations to a few dances after the first dance. Your coverage can be anything you want it to be though.

Are my photos safe?

You bet. No matter how long I’m at your wedding or how long the drive home is, I literally can’t sleep until I’ve got every photo backed up. I keep multiple copies across hard drives and cloud storage solutions, so if the worst happens, I’ll always have a backup somewhere.

What equipment do you use?

I use professional grade Canon equipment that is well looked after and serviced regularly. I also use both physical hard drives and cloud storage to keep your photos safe until they’re in your hands.
